UFC 120 Predictions

Our trip to UFC 120 at the 02 Arena is just a few days away. After looking forward to this for months it’s time to put my neck on the line and make a few predictions.

Michael Bisping Vs Yoshihiro Akiyama

I’m going for Akiyama. Bisping is a fighter who has a lot to say but rarely backs it up in my opinion. I expect Bisping to stand and bang, whereas Akiyama will want to close the distance and let his Judo skills dictate the fight. If Akiyama can withstand the first round, his superior skill set should seal the win.

Prediction: Akiyama by decision.

Dan Hardy vs. Carlos Condit

This is my main event of the night and I’m backing Hardy to win. It's hard to go against a man that lasts all five rounds with GSP. He can grind out a fight and has had a long time off to improve his game. The last time Hardy fought at the 02 was against Rory Markham at UFC 95. The fight lasted 69 seconds and ended with a huge KO.

Prediction: Hardy by third-round TKO.

John Hathaway vs. Mike Pyle

England’s most promising UFC talent John Hathaway will dominate this fight. Hathaway's victory over Diego Sanchez was a bit of a shock, but his performance was incredible. Mike Pyle may actually be a step down in competition for Hathaway.

Prediction: Hathaway by second-round KO.
